The Faculty of Education in Sombor, University of Novi Sad, is an educational and scientific state institution which, within its core activities, organizes Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral studies. In coordination with other faculties which belong to the University of Novi Sad, the Faculty’s orientation is the introduction of new educational profiles and the harmonization of its curricula in accordance with developmental tendencies in the education system of Serbia as well as in European countries.

The Faculty strives to improve the conditions for efficient studying through the enhancement of teaching facilities, the introduction of up-to-date educational technologies, and the establishment and development of the Faculty’s multimedia information service.

In addition, Sombor is one of the most beautiful towns in the country, with a rich cultural, artistic, historical, and architectural heritage. It is a peaceful and pleasant town which nevertheless provides students with everything they need – well-equipped classrooms, a dormitory, and numerous places for nightlife and socializing. The harmony of the old and the new, the tranquil rhythms of tradition and the dynamics of the 21^st century – that is Sombor today. Studying in Sombor means  being part of that harmony.
